Sorry for the pointless post, but I couldn’t be happier.Long story short, she had only ever seen snippets of Star Wars as a child and thought it was poorly written, really hammy, and just generally awful.Anyway, after some persuasion (and thanks to the boredom of lockdown) she agreed to watch A New Hope last night.She’s now watched A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi in less than 24 hours all of her own volition.Andddd, has officially stated that she really likes Star Wars.We’re socially distancing right now so we so synced up our Disney+ and watched them together whilst on Google Hangouts. Being able to see her face when Darth Vader turns back to the light side of the force, or watching her fall in love with Ewoks, or have her ask things like “why can only some people understand R2?” just brought me so much happiness. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2YY0exA
