It would’ve been really awesome to see Rey using a double bladed light saber like Maul. I always thought she was set up for that when she was using her staff as a weapon in TFA.

Just seems like a huge missed opportunity that would’ve been a little bit more interesting IMO, and honestly would’ve helped separate her from Luke and his saber in a way that people would’ve understood.Maybe they didn’t want Rey vs Kylo to be two unique lightsabers fighting, but it really does seem like she was meant for it based on her character in the 7th movie. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2WY0Ly9
