I've been trying to get my foot in the door with the 501st and have made many friends that have kits and troop with both the 501st and Rebel Legion over the past few years. While my lifelong goal (since I was about 12) is to join the Clone Detachment with an Ep. III 212th Airborne, just getting to know the folks who have been accepted in is huge. This relationship has luckily had me as the local "Backup-backup Kylo" for when the local enlisted members are already at an event. This past December, I got the call from a friend and got to troop alongside Vader, Fett, and a slew of others for a movie premiere.
