Pitch your perfect 'The Rise of Skywalker' ending.

Now that the conclusion of the saga is fast approaching, I think it would be a good time for some fun speculation as to what everyone hopes the ending to be.I think we can all agree that it should not only be a good ending for the Sequel Trilogy, but for the entire Saga.I'll take the lead here:The final confrontation in the Sequel Trilogy will be with Palpatine. He is the architect of the saga and the person single-handedly responsible for all the tragedy that has plagued the galaxy since the Invasion of Naboo. In my opinion, the perfect ending would be where everything Palpatine had done would ultimately have been in vain. The Jedi survive and thrive once again, the Republic will be reborn, the galaxy will be rid of the Sith once and for all.I won't go into detail about the confrontation or anything like that, just what I think would be the perfect final scene of the Skywalker Saga. The camera pans down to a familiar building; the Jedi Temple on the Republic capital of Coruscant. We see work being done to restore the temple to how it was before Palpatine came to power and defaced it.Inside, Ben and Rey talk to each other, both wearing Jedi robes similar to those seen in the Prequel trilogy. They walk into chamber of the Jedi Council and take their seat. They are soon joined by a few familiar faces, Ezra and Ahsoka. They will be the start of the new Jedi Order. We cut to the Senate Building, its familiar Dome shining bright over the rest of the capital. Inside, Poe Dameron tells of the past, the sacrifices that have been made to restore the galaxy. They speak about Luke, Leia, the Rebellion, Resistance and the Jedi. About how the failures of the past will lead to a better future, channeling Yoda's speech to Luke, indicating how much Poe has grown. We cut back to the Jedi Temple, where Rey is now walking with Finn. When they approach Ben, who is standing in front of a closed door, Finn and Rey say a tearful goodbye. Finn will join Rose as the new commanders of the Republic Navy, they have a lot of work to do to restore the worlds that have been tainted by the Empire and the First Order.Rey meets with Ben, who reassures her and they walk through the door together. They enter a room with several children and even a couple teens and adults. One of the children we are familiar with, Temiri Blagg, better known as Broom Boy.Rey and Ben bow before them, these Younglings' first lesson is about to begin. The camera turns, revealing several figures looking at them. Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin and Luke look at them, smiling just as they did in Return of the Jedi, as the the Jedi Order is reborn. Rey and Ben notice them, and they all share a short moment of happiness and peace, as Rey and Ben start the lesson. The camera moves to behind the Force ghosts of the old masters. Panning back to reveal the spirits of the other Jedi, all the ones who lost their lives in Order 66. Invisible to all, but nonetheless present, ushering in the rebirth of the Jedi. The camera zooms out further, as fireworks and celebration burst out across the planet. The music swells as the scene closes for a final time with the iconic fade to credits. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/36KEuXL
