Just rewatched Empire last night, and my God, is that movie perfect.

I'm a moderate Star Wars fan. I'm not as big on A New Hope as some other people (hot take: I actually prefer RotJ), I haven't seen the prequels since I was a little kid, and the sequels have mostly gone down in my estimation on repeat viewings. Watching this film again, though, reinvigorated my love for this franchise. I started watching The Clone Wars animated series, I'm going to get Jedi: Fallen Order for Christmas, and I really want to start reading the books and comics. Also, I'm kind of digging The Mandalorian. Even though not every movie in the series is perfect, I have so much adoration for this world and the characters that preside in it, all the lore and interesting little details. Really proves that Star Wars doesn't have to be something that tears people apart just because they didn't love every corner of the universe. The Force can unite us all.
