Anyone else experience "Star Wars Season"?

This is something I've noticed over the past few years - essentially, every year around the start of November, there's a new Star Wars film on the way, Trailers abound; 3 out of 5 times there's a new game on the way too, tonnes of comics and a few novels, and it all adds up to me being very much in a "Star Wars" mood, that usually lasts until January.I first really took note of it in 2017, with Battlefront 2 and TLJ on the way, and this year it's more intense than ever - aside from Jedi: Fallen Order and TROS, there's the Mandalorian, Clone Wars Season 7 in February, and little tidbits of news arriving every now and then about upcoming projects :)The only time in the last 5 years I haven't experienced this was last year, as the biggest event in Star Wars for 2018 was Solo, and that was in May.I personally feel that whatever critiques or personal disliking of Solo anyone may have, one of the biggest contributors to it's commercial and critical failure was releasing at the wrong time of year, in the middle of "Marvel Season", really ^^Black Panther had just been on, Deadpool 2 and Avengers Frickin' Infinity War were on the way, the public consciousness would very much be more centered on that than Star Wars.I can see the reasoning of wanting the film to release in May, it used to be the traditional release month of most of the previous Star Wars films, but for the last three years, that had shifted to December, and if 2019 is anything to go by, it's most certainly going to stay there for a long time.Big 'ol ramble, but it's just something that's been on my mind recently.Anyone else here get the "Star Wars Season" feel come November/December? via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/36tJNL6
