Yes, I know this may seem like blasphemy to some (I totally respect your opinion though), but I like Solo more than Rogue One, and feel like it is a better made movies overall. Like Rogue One has a killer third act, I feel the first and second acts are sort of problematic with their pacing and stuff like that. Also, I feel as though the characters except for Jyn were not developed enough, and I didn’t really care if some of them died, mainly Galen (mainly in the context of the movie, not including Catalyst) and Bodhi. Due to this, it’s my least favorite movie of the new canon, though it’s still a great ride. Solo, on the other hand, takes the time to develop the characters it has, and even short-lived characters, like Rio and Val, are given an opportunity to show their personality and allow us to connect with them. I also feel while Solo does not reach the highs of Rogue One in terms of excitement, I feel like it is more consistent throughout. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2ylk342
