Is it widely known within the Star Wars universe that Darth Vader turned back to the light and was ultimately responsible for the death of the Emperor? Surely there's no way Luke wouldn't at least have told his apprentices how his father died a hero, as a parable of how anyone can be redeemed if nothing else.So surely Kylo knows his grandfather turned back to the light before he died.Or does he?If Luke kept this information back for some reason, Kylo discovering how his hero died in Ep IX could be an important dramatic moment for the character, and could be the thing which pushes him over the edge to the light.It's possible this is covered in one of the newer novels - I haven't read any of them. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2MC4OI3
