Compared to some people, I usually don't have large expectations for what I want to see happen in Star Wars movies/shows.

I know that there's a good number people have high expectations of what they want to happen or what should happen in a Star Wars movie. I know that there were definitely people who had certain expectations of TFA and TLJ before and during their releases, and that either ruined or bumped up their enjoyment of those films. For me personally though, I don't have high expectations of what should happen for Star Wars. Are there things I would like to see? Yes, although I know there's also the chance of some plot point, cameo or event not happening, so I just usually roll along for the ride whenever I go to see a Star Wars movie or show. Are there things I wish could have been done differently or better? Yes, there are some things I would have wanted to happen looking back at things (like more action sequences in TLJ, more fight scenes and dialogue from Chirrut in Rogue One, as a few of my personal ones). But in general, I can usually go along with most Star Wars media and enjoy it or roll with it however it goes. Since Star Wars movies and shows can have a pretty wide set of directions where the continuity and canon could go, I am pretty open to anything happening. And I'm usually pretty easily entertained by a lot of things Star Wars, so I usually just go along with what happens and then evaluate my own thoughts on what happened later. The only time where my expectations really were somewhat crushed were with Star Wars Resistance. While the color palette looks pleasing, I was expecting more hand-drawn or anime-style animation (like Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, or My Hero Academia) instead of what looks like Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 in space with a slightly faster frame rate. But these are just my thoughts anyways. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2QihBT5
