TLJ- All the characters are flawed and it’s great

Rian Johnson has done an amazing job on developing the characters that I think goes far unnoticed. Poe is an amazing fighter, but is a terrible officer. Hux is a loyal member of the First Order but he sucks at... most things. Luke is a powerful wise Jedi master now, but he’s a bad teacher and his troubles to find a better ideology cloud his vision. Holdo is a good officer (disciplined and by the books), but fails at communicating her advice and working with other officers- leading to flaws in strategy. Rey is powerful in the force but has no idea how to control her abilities and thus sometimes makes poor decisions. Kylo is the same way as Rey, but rather with emotions then the force. This goes unnoticed but it makes a general theme of failure, even for the good guys. And as Yoda said, “..but teach them failure too, for the greatest of teachers failure is.” (Paraphrased, but I think you’ll remember that line.) via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2oOdF2Q
