This thought occurred to me today and I couldn't believe I hadn't considered it or heard it mentioned anywhere (I'm sure it has been).In TFA, Kylo says emphatically, "That lightsaber! It belongs to me!" Could this be a bit of foreshadowing? What better symbol could there be of Kylo coming full circle in his pursuit of becoming a stronger, more resolute Vader than to corrupt the last remnant of Anakin Skywalker?I think it could be an amazing and emotional scene to see played out on screen. He bests Rey, takes the saber, and in a second act of parricide he strikes Luke down, causing the crystal to bleed red.
