This has bugged me for a while. As a fan, it was cool seeing Han and Leia's son named Ben. It made sense, to a fan.But does it really make sense from their perspective? Leia never met obi wan, only sent for his help. Han only knew him for a few hours.I'm sure they knew how much he meant to Luke. But unless they said, "Luke, you get to name our son" it doesn't make a lot of sense. Leia was closer to Bail Organa, being raised by him and even following in his footsteps. It would have meant more to Leia to honor his memory, not an acquaintance of her brothers (whom she's even known for only a few years at that point).Was this ever covered in books or anything? via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2waNfu4
