From the breathtaking opening photographic of a white-caped Krennic and his blackguards striding trough the dark green prairie and black sands; to the historic, lived-in holy city of Jedha, shadowed by a star destroyer; to the jagged, downpouring Eadu; then Mustafar and Yavin 4 realized with modern CGI. And that trade post built between 2 asteroids (which gets less than 2 minutes of screen time)? Simply fascinating and gives off a cyberpunk-ish vibe. There is so much variety in locales shown, and each felt authentic yet exotic. It felt like I was reading a concept arts book (a hobby of mine), but animated and on big screen. It really give you a sense of Star Wars galaxy's scale. In a dream world there would be a 7 episode series of Star Wars universe natural/cultural environment touring - of same graphic caliber as the movie, made in BBC documentary style, narrated by David Attenborough. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2iGtC2K
