Rebels 4.05 "The Occupation" and 4.06 "Flight of the Defender" Discussion Thread
Since apparently they aren't being made automatically feel free to post your thoughts about the latest Rebels episodes here.Personally I though these were two strong episodes. Going back to a Lothal overtaken and ravaged by the Empire feels right for the final season. The visuals of the burnt planet along with Kevin Kiner's score made for a compelling scene. Also really liked the score in Flight of the Defender when Ezra was helped by the Lothwolf. And the visuals of Ezra flying the Defender through the rock formations and taking out the other TIEs were great too. And there were more personal moments like the scenes between Rex and Kallus or Kanan and Hera.No big complaints from me. How long after Attack of the Clones does The Clone Wars Season 1 take place?
I've done some searching on Wookieepedia, but all I can find is that TCW takes place in 19BBY (the same year of AOTC). Obviously a lot has happened between AOTC and TCW, with Anakin having become a knight, having gained his scar and having grown his hair out. Obviously these gaps were prviously filled by the 2003 microseries, which the 2008 show was originally made as a follow-up to, but now that series is not canon.So does anyone know how many weeks or months are between AOTC and the first chronological episode of TCW?Also, bonus question: how close is the final season of TCW to Revenge of the Sith? via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2if7X3w

What would an actual lightsaber duel look like?
So as it was brought to my attention on a recent post of mine, that not all the lightsaber duels in the Star Wars franchise are realistic. Which got me wondering, what would an actual lightsaber duel look like? Would it be long and exhausting or powerful and quick? I'm leaning towards the latter, considering the saber part of a lightsaber is weightless with the hilt being the only thing that has weight. I assume a hilt would weigh a few pounds, maybe lighter.Is there any real world fighting style/ sword technique that is comparable to a lightsaber? Searching for an old comic or two, featuring (I think) Quinlan Vos and (I'm sure) Obi-Wan Cannoli.
Howdy all, I was hoping I could get some assistance in finding some old comics that involve the stylings of Quinlan Vos and Obi-Wan. The Vos comic involved him running into a Jedi and her Clone escort, and him betraying them at some point. I think the Jedi was Aayla, but I'm afraid I'm not 100% sure. Because my brain is ridiculous, I can 100% surely remember that the Clone's visor gets cracked at some point and he remarks that a helmet isn't worth much if you can't see out of it.The other I find myself racking my brain for is an older comic about Obi-Wan encountering Asajj Ventress, and dueling her before escaping with her lightsabre(s?). She is seen crying at the end, and when someone asks if he took her sabre, she replies "that's not all he took" or something like that.
