Was it a good idea from Windu to arrest Palpatine?

Because, logically speaking, there is a few factors that would point otherwise.1) He tried to complete the Prophecy without the Chosen One, which means, he went directly against the Force's will. 2) If he had killed Palpatine, than Jedi will be lawfully accused of treason, which would still Initialize the Order 66. Knowing Palp, he would give Tarkin or auto send message about the start of the Order.I mean, he tried to fight Sith like during the last war, when Sith were an enemy's empire. But Palpatine operates by the law - and he now has rights. It operates in accordance with the concluded agreements. Jedi are made to kill Sith. But it can't be done with lightsaber when he roam the world, hiding behind ideals, faith and law.
