Was anybody else a bit bewildered by the decision to give Anakin a padawan in TCW back in 2008?

We literally had a whole movie in the form of episode 2 where Obi-Wan constantly complains about how reckless and irresponsible Anakin is. So why did they think he was ready to teach someone so young and impressionable? Were there no concerns that Anakin might in some ways encourage Ahsoka to do the things they take issue with? via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/AfCmSWT
