Does anyone think this is the most petty thing Vader has done?

In Vader#4, Vader notices that Luke (who he still did not know was his son) was actually competing in a podrace... and was getting THIS close to beating his record in 32 BBY His response? "Impressive... too impressive." Then he destroyed one of the engines with the Force. I think someone's JEALOUS. And it's rather petty.
