I’m gonna admit, I actually am pretty annoyed Poe’s role got replace by Rose.

I find it mindboggling how much of a wasted opportunity it would’ve been to have Finn and Poe adventure together. The audience reception to the chemistry between these two in TFA was very positive. They worked so great together, that even when they just met, they came off like BFFs.Instead Poe’s spot gets replaced by a brand new character that people aren’t invested in. What’s worse is that it doesn’t pay off because her romance with Finn came off as so rushed and lame, she was used as a platform to push a political message about how rich people are bad, and she does dumbest thing at the end, which makes people dislike her.An endearing chemistry between two characters could’ve carried a boring narrative. Even if you wanna keep Rose, at least write the story in a way where Poe still tags along. But instead he got benched, because Rian Johnson thought it’d be better to insert a character that didn’t feel like she belonged in Star Wars. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2qQs11h
