Carrie Fisher supported mental health charities and causes. Let's honor our Princess by doing our part.

It was one year ago today we lost our Princess. Let's continue to honor what she fought for.Carrie Fisher did a lot for mental health charities and organizations, not to mention all the people she helped just by sharing her own story. Now it's our turn.I picked a place and donated $19.77 in memory of Carrie Fisher. Will you match me?This year, I'm choosing The Thalians, which deals primarily with mental health causes for veterans. Debbie Reynolds was president of this organization, and they even have a memorial fund for her and Fisher. Billie Lourd recently chose to support it with proceeds from an auction of the estate.Learn more at http://ift.tt/2pNUhUn here's a few more options:The International Bipolar Foundation — Fisher was an honorary board member and, as we know, grappled with this issue herself. http://ift.tt/2E3abx4 - or, if you use PayPal, go through the PayPal Giving Fund and they'll kick in 1%. http://ift.tt/2pMzuAy's Association — another mental health cause to which Fisher is on record as a donator. (On a personal note, this one is close to my heart as well due to family history.) http://ift.tt/1wkr6Ry - or, if you use PayPal, go through the PayPal Giving Fund and they'll kick in 1%. http://ift.tt/2pLx8BG Midnight Mission — helping the homeless get on their feet and live better lives, including but not limited to mental illness. Fisher was honored for her support of this group at their 2014 gala. http://ift.tt/2DZR7zC maybe there's a place in your corner of the galaxy you'd rather support. All wings report in! via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2pLx9FK
