just finished the clone wars and i am heartbroken

that ending was one of the bleakest endings from any star wars story. like it really takes the cake.ahsoka dropping the saber that anakin gave her, all of the clones they buried, the quietness of it all, the stillness. i read somewhere someone said that "the end of the clone wars and the beginning of the empire was so... quiet" and i agree. it's just heartbreaking knowing how many jedi, how many clones died. knowing that ahsoka can feel anakin out there, on the dark side. that she had to let him go and let all of it go and go into hiding, alone. (well, with rex but still ultimately alone and betrayed)god, i don't know how they came up with something so fucking sad. (obviously i already knew how it was going to end) but the fights and animation were so good, and everything was so intense that i was actually nervous watching it all. it was such a tragic and heavy ending, and i can't get it off my mind. i finished it yesterday and im still upset about it, like it's really weighed on me in a way most media doesn't.did anyone else feel this way after watching the end of clone wars? :( via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/v9ylC82
