It would be way too cheap and easy. I feel the most logical, realistic, and satisfying thing will be that the parents are people who just left her for their own reasons never to be seen again. Simple as that. Maz already told Rey they are 'Never coming back'. This is far more powerful and it gives Rey a trauma that she will always carry and gives more significance to the parental role that she got from Han and then afterwards Luke.I think we've all been conditioned from ESB and ROTJ to think that all main characters must be someone's son/brother/sister.
